Cred Welcomes New Community Managers

1 min read

At Cred, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our community’s access to the Cred team. If you are new to the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency, you may not have heard of Telegram. It is a free messaging app that focuses on speed and security and allows groups of up to 100,000 people or channels for broadcasting to unlimited audiences. Telegram has grown in popularity over the past few years as an encrypted social networking site similar to Whatsapp, especially in the blockchain and crypto community. Telegram groups are public forums where token holders and customers can talk to other members of their community, raise questions and concerns about a token’s value, and discuss company news.

In order to better serve our 70k+ community members, we have brought on a new team who will be available 24 hours a day to reach our global audience in any time zone. Help me to welcome the new team from BlockPR: Gary, Jann, Igor, William, and John.

Gary Kane
Gary has been active in the crypto industry since 2017, managing communities of varying sizes on Telegram and across all social media platforms. He believes that dealing with FUD starts from tackling the root cause and is always on the lookout for scammers to protect the community.

As a blockchain enthusiast, in his spare time, he researches the many different blockchain projects that are out there; analyzing the project’s quality and viability before investing his hard-earned money into them.

Jann Lowe

Representing the females in the blockchain space, Jann started her crypto investment journey back in early 2017. She was subsequently engaged in community management through a Singaporean agency beginning January 2018.

She has extensive community management experience and was quickly promoted to supervise the agency’s administrators to ensure quality answers to community queries.

Igor Lisovskiy

Igor specialized in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for crypto projects before moving on to a community moderator role in 2017. He is quick with responding to issues and concerns and specializes in answering community inquiries in a respectful and professional manner.

In his spare time, Igor does translation work for articles between Russian and English.

John Smith

John started in crypto when BTC was $800 as a Social Media Manager at Blockonomics where he handled the trifecta — Reddit, Telegram, and Facebook. He was part of the admin team that helped Freelancer Coin during their pre-ICO days. When that engagement ended, John went over to a large community management agency as a moderator and MLG Blockchain as a Community Management specialist.

William Collins

William worked in a variety of sectors such as Customer Services, Teaching, Liquidation & Receivership before becoming a Community Manager in December 2017 rising quickly to a team lead role on the back of his strong work ethics. He moderated between 8–11 communities of varying size between 200 to 100,000 members and dealing with the public over time have made him a much more analytical person in thinking outside the box on questions that would not be normally asked.

In his downtime, William plays the guitar regularly as an avid music lover and would take long walks to decompress.

Welcome team, we look forward to seeing the amazing things we can do together with the Cred community! Join us on Telegram.
